A chapter of one’s book comes to a close
Arduous and onerous, exigent
Yet relentless and persistent
Epigrammatic, succinct with abrupt terse as well
With swiftly and briskly
I articulate a clear and still muddy matrix
A whimsical capricious chance of luck and fortune
An assortment of vivid brilliance and lacklustre repetitive humdrum
An ode to swept time here’s the last stop
Full speed ahead to anew pastures of mystery.
Time still has its hold on me.
The sun blazed through a maze of cloud
Golden and radiant the light bulb turned on
Glass sparkled and roads melted a black coal heart
The pulse of life in a pattern of pure glory
It was a splendid, English, summer day
May this wealth of prosper last many a fine day.

i went to birmingham botanical gardens in the hols, here are some of the pics i took.
I am bored.
I implore where has ‘it’ gone?
Is it a place I’ve never been?
Or once been?
Have I ceased to be a human being?
To be just filling a space, a place on a shelf
I am on a shelf, and lost my sell by date.
Have I passed the barrier?
Do I look at a milestone and believe I am it?
Have I driven the last mile long ago? And only just woke up?
Am I old youth or new old?
Do I dwell on the crossroad and want to turn back?
What is done is history past.
Does history ‘repeat’ itself?
Or does the new run over the old.
Is the past dead? Or life anew?
What is now, and do I know you?
Are we friend or foe?
I am not sure if I welcome you, but I know your there.
Written in stone? Perhaps so.
But.
A stone can always be broken.
I hope your cast never grips a hold on me
Or did it happen long ago, me oblivious to thee.
The crossroads are near
And I fear it’s already here.
I was bored.
I wish I still was now
‘Hummm’ ensues…
i have been busy this last week so i thought i’d show you a glimpse of what ive been up to.
here’s some graphics work ive being doing for my botanical gardens question. they are all photocopied works , none were photographed , the black background was produced by leaving the photocopiers lid open,

I started out trying to write a poem here, instead I flowed into a recount of an event from the past what’s written is what I saw and felt.
Three o’s and a two
Bagel one
Large marquee with spikes for ears
White yellow
Had plenty of junk mile high.
Diamond football shoe studs display, I think is pathetically class centralised epitome of self indulgent snobbery.
There was a ‘calm’ room where people sat and watched colour projections float around the room, the room a large spherical design echoing the emphasis of tranquillity not sound, it was quiet some would say eerie or dull, but okay for a while of time.
Time moved to another section a large scale replica of a human, idiots that would make sheep look more civilised, entered through the mouth and left somewhere else I don’t remember to be truth, I just remember the entrance the heart and that’s about it, it was a bit rubbish and failed to integrate education with art which I believe was its purpose it was too fake, plastic crap anyone?
Anyway My best experience was my bagel one, I remember the stand it was small and outnumbered by everyone around it yet appealed due to its sense of timing and space, the space around was large and commandeering everyone and everything using the space, then there was this one small stall selling bagels, I had my first bagel that day, I feel happy in the knowledge I discovered it there. Otherwise what an expensive rip off of a celebration. World fair great exhibition 1851 would be appalled at the sub standard.
And now you say?, it still there but empty, last I saw on tv there were twits with model aeroplanes flying about it its vast emptiness, that’s not really worth the money it cost to make it, even so it was the three o’s and a two the place had to make something out of the time. Sigh crazy days. Recession eat your heart out, present will always be a present that past will be remembered for the wrong reasons more so.
Three o’s and a two.

bagel
if you haven’t figured out what I’m rambling about yet, ask, I’ll tell you.
